Class 2 and 7.5t Multi Drop Drivers needed – Immediate start

From £100 to £150 per day PAYE or LTD / overtime available

We are NOW recruiting on behalf of our distribution client who are part of an established pallet network.

The work we have is Multi Drop pallet deliveries throughout London and the home counties. The current fleet consists of 18t and 7.5t curtain sided vehicles equipped with a tail lift and a pallet truck. You’ll be expected to complete up to 15 deliveries on average, sometimes over 2 runs. Some handball will be required for certain customers.

The shifts will be Monday to Friday with various start times. Alternate Saturday shifts will be a possibility.

Main duties/responsibilities:

• To complete each delivery safely and on time
• To maintain high levels of customer service and professionalism whilst representing the company.
• To complete all vehicle checks prior to departure and report any defects and keep vehicles clean.
• To correctly complete and return all documentation relating to each delivery
• To maintain contact with the planners to report of any delays / issues
• To manage your tachograph/drivers hours and ensure you don’t get infringements

This work will be paid through us but permanent employment will be an option for those who prove to be reliable and competent.

RATES

Up to £150 per day depending on vehicle type and shift

If you can say yes to the following we want to hear from you;

• Have you held your UK licence for 12 months +?
• Do you have a current CPC and digital driver card?
• Do you have Multi Drop experience and can you provide references?
• Do you have a good level of English written and verbal? You will be required to work from written manifests.
• Do you live within a commutable distance to High Wycombe?
